A year has passed since Aethir Cloud Drop, our epic airdrop that paved the way to the Aethir TGE in June 2024. A lot has happened since then. Aethir has built the largest compute platform in Web3 and a large DePIN ecosystem, with 150+ ecosystem partners and clients from the AI, Web3, and gaming sectors, all leveraging our decentralized GPU cloud for powering industry-shaping innovations.

The much-awaited Season 2.0 of Aethir Cloud Drop is here, and we are tremendously excited to reward our loyal community members who have been with us throughout our journey. With your help, we’ve built one of the most robust decentralized cloud computing networks in the world, showcasing an annual recurring revenue ARR of $141+ million, positioning us at the top of the DePIN sector.

Who Is Eligible for the Airdrop?

Checker Node holders, ATH stakers, and Cloud Hosts are the core beneficiaries of Aethir Cloud Drop Season 2.0. These community groups have been directly supporting Aethir’s daily operations and network stability since our mainnet launch. They are the core pillars of Aethir’s DePIN stack, and we want to reward our long-term supporters whose commitment has helped us build Aethir’s decentralized cloud infrastructure. Those Checker Node holders, ATH stakers, and Cloud Hosts who kept believing in Aethir and continued supporting our DePIN stack will get a pleasant surprise with season 2.0 of our airdrop.

The role of Checker Nodes is critical for Aethir’s decentralized cloud infrastructure. Our network of 91,000+ Checker Nodes constantly monitors our 430,000+ GPU Containers to ensure that all of our enterprise clients receive the same premium quality of service at all times. Checker Nodes receive daily ATH rewards for their services.

Stakers have a key role in supporting Aethir’s cloud computing infrastructure stability. All compute in Aethir’s GPU cloud needs to be staked with ATH. Compute providers, also referred to as Cloud Hosts, need to stake ATH to join our network and start earning compute providers’ fees in ATH. By staking ATH, our community members directly support our network of Cloud Hosts, and they earn ATH staking rewards for their contribution. With the recent launch of our EigenCloud ATH vault, we’ve created a specialized staking pool geared exclusively toward supporting our Cloud Hosts, allowing users to deposit ATH and receive eATH (EigenATH) receipt tokens in return. These tokens accrue ATH rewards derived from compute provider fees over time. Through the EigenCloud ATH Vault, stakers have the option to support our DePIN stack in a more hands-on way. 

Our network of Cloud Hosts is responsible for powering our 150+ partners and clients with premium, scalable, and cost-effective cloud computing services. As compute providers, Cloud Hosts provide the core service of Aethir’s decentralized GPU cloud, while earning ATH.
